The careful answer

Binance may accept a Palau ID in some circumstances, but acceptance varies. Binance controls the final identity verification decision, and its rules can depend on residence, document issuing country or region, document type, payment channel, product, and regulatory requirements.

RNS says the Palau ID is legal proof of identity and that only the physical copy can be used for KYC. That does not mean Binance must accept every Palau ID for every user.

Binance identity verification

Binance says users start verification by selecting residence, document issuing country or region, and document type. Binance also says all new users are required to complete verification to access its products and services.

This is why the question is not simply "is the Palau ID real?" It is whether Binance's current verification flow accepts that document for your account.

Proof of address may still apply

Binance may ask for proof of identity and proof of address. Its address verification guidance says the proof of address should validate where you live and match the account owner.

A Palau ID is an identity document. It is not automatically proof of your current residential address. If Binance asks for POA, read Palau ID proof-of-address limits before assuming the card solves that requirement.

Use the physical Palau ID

RNS says only the physical copy of your ID can be used for KYC. Do not use a downloaded image, portal screenshot, or digital preview for Binance verification.

If Binance is your main use case, review timeline and shipping before applying.

Bottom line

The most honest answer is: maybe, but Binance decides. Apply only if the Palau ID has value to you beyond Binance and you accept that exchange policies can change.
