No exchange guarantee
People often research Palau ID because they want to pass KYC on Binance, Bybit, KuCoin, or another exchange. That is understandable, but acceptance varies and can change without notice.
RNS says the Palau ID is supported by several exchanges and that many organizations only need the ID to verify. It does not mean every exchange, region, account type, or verification tier will accept it.
Why results differ
Exchange KYC is not a simple document upload. Platforms can evaluate your ID type, account region, IP behavior, proof of address, sanctions exposure, risk flags, and account history. Two people with the same Palau ID can see different outcomes.
Some platforms may ask for proof of address or additional checks. RNS FAQ notes that members have used their own proof-of-address and 2FA methods if those are required.
Physical card only
RNS explicitly says only the physical copy of your ID can be used for KYC. Do not rely on a downloaded image or screenshot. If exchange KYC is your primary reason for applying, wait until the physical card arrives before planning the verification attempt.
Better decision framework
Apply if the Palau ID has broad value to you beyond one exchange. Be cautious if your entire reason is a single account on a single platform.
