How to Apply for Palau Digital Residency Through RNS.ID

Step 1: Start at the RNS portal

RNS says all ID applications are submitted through the RNS portal. If you use our apply button, it sends you to RNS.ID with our affiliate referral attached.

Do not apply through social media messages, lookalike domains, or people asking you to send documents directly. Use the official RNS portal and keep your account credentials private.

Step 2: Confirm your profile

RNS says your profile details must exactly match your submitted legal documents. You can also provide the shipping address where the Palau ID card should be mailed.

This is the stage where most preventable mistakes happen. Match names, dates, and document details carefully.

Step 3: Verify identity

You will need acceptable and valid identity documents. RNS describes document scanning, document matching, and camera-based face-match verification. The document review portion is described as taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4: Pass screening

RNS says your application is reviewed for KYC/AML compliance, criminal background, sanctions, and errors. Initial screening is listed at 24 to 72 hours.

After screening, the Government of Palau reviews the application and gives final approval. RNS says government approval can take up to 7 days.

Step 5: Wait for printing and shipping

Approved applications go to a printing queue. RNS says printing and packaging typically take 7 to 14 business days. After shipment, you should receive an email with tracking. Shipping time depends on the destination country.
