First: separate rejection from delay

An application can be delayed without being rejected. RNS describes several steps after submission: identity verification, KYC/AML compliance review, sanctions and criminal background checks, Palau government review, printing, packaging, and shipping.

If your status is unclear, use the RNS.ID application status and support guide. this site cannot access your RNS account, application status, documents, payment, or support messages.

Common issues to check

Profile mismatchRNS says application details should match your legal documents
Blurry document photoRNS FAQ asks for clear photos
Scanned document uploadRNS FAQ says not to upload scanned documents for verification
Expiring IDRNS FAQ says the ID must have at least one month before expiration

Fix document and photo problems first

If RNS asks for another document or image, do not rush the reupload. Retake the photo in good light, include all corners, avoid glare, and make sure the document text is readable.

If the issue is photo-specific, use Palau ID photo rejected. If the issue is your document set, use the documents checklist.

Eligibility and screening limits

RNS FAQ says the program is not available to people from North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Crimea, and Sudan, and that shipping is unavailable to the same locations. RNS also describes compliance and government review steps.

That means some outcomes cannot be fixed by better photos. If the issue is eligibility, sanctions, background screening, or government review, only RNS support can clarify the official result.

What not to do

Do not send passport files, selfies, payment screenshots, or personal documents to unofficial social media accounts. Use the official RNS portal and official support channels.

Do not assume a rejection means the Palau ID is fake. It can also mean the application did not pass the required checks. For legitimacy due diligence, read Is RNS.ID legit?.
